Mostly about money and timing, which is fair. Here are straight answers.

Do I have to pay everything upfront?
No, and we would not ask you to. Made-to-order work needs a 60% deposit before we start, because we buy your materials and book your production slot with it. The remaining 40% is due once your order is ready: before we deliver it, or as you collect it. Larger corporate runs sometimes need a bit more upfront, and we will tell you that in writing before you commit to anything.
Why a deposit at all?
Everything we make has one person’s name, face or inside joke on it. If an order falls through we cannot sell it to anybody else. The deposit covers the materials and the printing so we can take on detailed work without cutting corners.
How long does it take?
Photobooks take about 3 to 5 working days from the moment you approve the draft. Cards and small keepsakes are usually 2 to 3 days. Event stationery depends on the size of the order, so ask us early. If you are in a genuine panic, say so on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.
How do I send my photos?
WhatsApp or Google Drive or a link to your photos, whichever is easier. Send them at full size rather than compressed, so they print sharp. Take time to go through the photos and only pick the ones you’d like us to use. Quality over quantity, always.
Can I see it before it is printed?
Always. Nothing goes to print until you have seen a draft and said yes. One round of changes is included, and small tweaks after that are usually fine. If you rebuild the whole thing from scratch we will talk about it first rather than surprise you with a bill.
Do you have a shop, or are you online only?
We are fully online for now, with a pickup point at Sasa Mall, Shop C6, Moi Avenue, Nairobi. It is a collection point rather than a shop floor, but we do keep a few samples there, so you are welcome to come and see and handle the work before you commit to anything. Message us before you come so that your order, or the samples you want to look at, is ready when you arrive.
Where do I collect from, and do you deliver?
Collection is from our pickup point at Sasa Mall, Shop C6, Moi Avenue, Nairobi. We work within Nairobi and deliver across the country, charged at cost.
Do you do corporate orders?
Yes, and it is a growing part of what we do. We have a full corporate catalogue with set collections, minimum order quantities and two levels of service. Have a look at the corporate gifting page, then message us with your event and headcount.
What if I do not like it?
Tell us at the draft stage so we can fix it. Once something is printed with a specific name or photo on it we cannot resell it, so we cannot take it back. If we got something wrong on our side, we fix it or reprint it at our cost.
